EXAM (MIDTERM) INFORMATION

Exam 1  

The first exam will take place on Thursday February 15th, 2024, from 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM.  It will cover 5 sections:

Math 112 Exam 1 Information:

Exam 1 Study Guide - Practice Exams:

To supplement your studying with the examples in the Class Notes, the problems in the four Practice Exams below are similar to the questions on the exam and are a great way to prepare for it!  In order to help you prepare and study for Exam 1, the Exam 1 Study Guide has been divided into four parts for you to use as Practice Exams: 


Exam 1 Review:  free optional in-person Practice Exam 

When:  Monday, February 12, 2024 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm 

Where:  GITT 129B

Students who wish to attend the in-person Review/Practice Exam will need to bring a graphing calculator, pen/pencil, scratch paper, and a web-connected device to access a practice exam through Gradescope.  Students will be given 60 minutes to work on 20 questions. Students will submit their answers on Gradescope and they will be scored. After this practice exam, some instructors and GTAs will be in the auditorium to answer questions and give explanations for the 20 questions and their answers. The problems in this review session will be different from those on the four Practice Exams located above. 




Exam 2

The second exam will take place on Thursday, March 21st 2024, from 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM.  The second exam will cover 4 sections:

Exam 2 Study Guide - Practice Exams:

To supplement your studying with the examples in the Class Notes, the problems in the Practice Exams below are similar to the questions on the exam and are a great way to prepare for it!  In order to help you prepare and study for Exam 2, the Exam 2 Study Guide has been divided into four parts for you to use as Practice Exams:

Common Final Exam

A common comprehensive final exam is given in all sections of Math 112 on Monday, May 6th, 2024, from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM.    

The final exam is comprehensive and will cover all sections from the course.


FINAL EXAM Zoom Review

There will be an optional Final Exam Zoom Review. 


The problems in the Final Exam Practice Exams, Exam 1 Practice Exams, Exam 2 Practice Exams, and Exam 3 Practice Exams are similar to the questions on the Final Exam and are a great way to prepare for it!  In addition to these Practice Tests, in order to help you prepare and study for the Final Exam, we will be offering a free review session on Zoom. This session is an opportunity for you to practice with more problems similar to ones you might see on the exam. These problems will be different from those on the Practice Exams.
