MAT 092 and MAT 122 at Pima Community College
Many UA students place into an Elementary or Intermediate level Algebra class through
the UA Math Readiness Test (MRT). This just means that the student will benefit from taking one or two additional math courses before enrolling in a UA math course. There courses are not offered by the UA, but through Pima Community College. Pima is a separate institution, with separate tuition and a separate application process. These courses do not appear on a student's UA schedule in Student Link, but through MY PIMA on Pima's website. Pima MAT 092 is a non-credit course. Pima MAT 122 will count for UA elective credit if taken in through fall 2008. Please contact Pima CC at 520-206-6468 for any information. Students taking MAT 122 who need full time status for financial aid purposes will need to contact the UA the Financial Aid Office.
