Where to Stay
The pace in Tucson is casual and relaxed, no matter where you stay. There are private luxury suites at a resort or a guest ranch on the outskirts of town, historic bed and breakfast inns, all the major hotel chains, and two youth hostels.

Hotels in walking distance:
- The Marriott University Park is essentially on the University of Arizona Campus at 880 E. Second Street, and is about 10 minutes by foot from the Mathematics Department. They can be reached at (800) 228-9290.
- The Sheraton Four Points is located at the intersection of Speedway Boulevard and Campbell Avenue, about 20 minutes by foot from the Mathematics Department. They can be reached at (520) 327-7341.
Hostels:
- Historic Hotel Congress lies in the heart of downtown Tucson, approximately 2 miles from the University.
- The RoadRunner Hostel is also located downtown, approximately 2.5 miles from the University.
Note: Hostels sometimes require membership in an organization such as Hostelling International.
