Statistics Tenure-track Positions: Description


Responsibilities

You will be expected to maintain an active research program, to participate fully and with distinction in both undergraduate and graduate education, to carry out your share of advising duties and committee assignments, and to be an active participant in the University's Graduate Interdisciplinary Program in Statistics, including supervision of Statistics MS and PhD students. The normal teaching load in the Department is twelve units for the academic year. However, at least for an initial period, you can expect a teaching load of nine units for the academic year.

Qualifications

By the time of appointment, candidates are expected to have a PhD and an excellent research record or potential, as well as a strong commitment to teaching.

Compensation

Rank and salary depend on experience.
