You will be expected to maintain an active research program, to participate fully and with distinction in both undergraduate and graduate education, and to carry out your share of advising duties and committee assignments. The normal teaching load in the Department is twelve units for the academic year. However, at least for an initial period, you can expect a teaching load of nine units for the academic year.
By the time of appointment, candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. and an excellent research record or potential, as well as a strong commitment to teaching.
Rank and salary depend on experience.
