The Department of Mathematics at the University of Arizona invites applications for a three-year, non-tenure-track (Multi-Year Lecturer) teaching post-doctoral position of professional training beginning in Fall 2008, and contingent upon budgetary approval. Please read our description of the Teaching Post-Doctoral Program. These teaching post doctoral positions are part of a training program intended for individuals with a teaching career in mind. These positions are similar to post doctoral positions in research except that the emphasis is on teaching and scholarly activities pertaining to teaching. Teaching postdocs have the opportunity to teach a wide range of undergraduate courses and to participate in departmental activities such as research seminars, curriculum reform, projects with undergraduates, and outreach activities like teacher training programs. This postdoc program is ideal for those planning to teach at a four-year college or master's degree granting institution.
