Academic Year 2011–12 Visiting Assistant Professor
Overview
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Arizona invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position (non-tenure eligible) to be appointed contingent upon budgetary approval. This position is available beginning in Fall 2011.
Compensation
An academic year salary of $40,000.
Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities of this position are to teach six units per semester including a range of undergraduate and graduate courses, and to build a strong research program.
Qualifications
By the time of the appointment, candidates are expected to have a PhD and an excellent research record or potential, as well as a strong commitment to teaching.
