Academic Year 2010–11 Visiting Assistant Professor

Overview

The Mathematics Department at the University of Arizona invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position (non-tenure eligible) to be appointed contingent upon budgetary approval. This position is available beginning in Fall 2010.

Compensation

An academic year salary of $40,000.

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities of this position are to teach six or more units per semester including a range of undergraduate and graduate courses, and to build a strong research program.

Qualifications

By the time of appointment, candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. and an excellent research record or potential, as well as a strong commitment to teaching.
