Elements of the matrix group GL(n) -- or, almost equivalently, of a simple Lie group of type A, -- can be encoded by weighted planar networks. Such graphical representations are used in the framework of total positivity, cluster algebras, Poisson geometry, integrable systems, etc. In the talk I will present similar graphical models for simple Lie groups of types B and C.
