Mathematics Instruction Colloquium

Assessing Assessments - So you've given an exam, now what?
Series: Mathematics Instruction Colloquium
Location: MATH 401
The next Mathematics Instruction Colloquium will be held on Monday, September 25th from 4:00 - 5:00 pm in Math 401. During this MIC Sarah Andrews will be leading a directed discussion regarding "Assessing Assessments - So you've given an exam, now what?". We will have a conversation about the best practices to analyze test results at a deeper level than class average and standard deviation. We will think about ways to determine which questions went well vs which questions did not go well and consider what reasons the question performed the way in which it did.

We invite you to come have a snack and drink (tea or coffee) and discuss with us, so that you can dive into the data of your first test and analyze it with confidence.

If you would like to attend but are unable to make it in person, we will stream the session in Zoom. Here is the link: https://arizona.zoom.us/j/84520935405. Password: teaching.
