The presentation generally talks about "The mathematics of RAID-6", written by Peter Anvin, which is considered one of the popular papers in Error Correcting Codes. We first introduce some terminologies regarding the Error Correcting Codes, and then talk about advantages/disadvantages of using each of RAID-0,1,5,6. After that, we discuss the "The mathematics of RAID-6" paper, and we conclude the presentation by comparing our invented new RAID to those existed RAIDs."No heavy mathematics, good for general audience.
