Brass All Around! Pi Day Music in ENR2

Series: Public Event
Location: ENR 2 Courtyard
Presenter: Moises Paiewonsky and Brass Faculty and Students, UA Fred Fox School of Music

The ENR2 courtyard is majestically vaulted with gorgeous acoustics, reminiscent of medieval cathedrals in which brass choirs played from opposing balconies to the public below.

On Pi Day (Wednesday 14 March 2018) ENR2 will get its brass choirs, thanks to UA Professor of Trombone Moises Paiewonsky with fellow Brass faculty and students.  Their program will showcase antiphonal music by Gabrieli, Mendelssohn, Sibelius, and more.  In honor of Pi Day, undergraduates from the Fred Fox School of Music will be serving various kinds of pie.

The concert is free and open to the public. Music will start at 5:30pm.

(Refreshments will be served.)
