This year's theme for National Math Awareness Month is Mathematics and the Cosmos. The UA Math Department participates each year with a week of activities. Everyone is invited to join us in celebrating the relevance of mathematics to everyday aspects of modern life. All events are free and open to the public. Talks are for general audiences. For more information, please contact Professor Bruce Bayly, 621-4766, bjb@math.arizona.edu.
