AEPA Study Guide and Tutorial Videos

The University of Arizona College of Medicine Office of Outreach and Multicultural Affairs in partnership with UA Colleges of Science and Education, and Sunnyside Unified School District in Tucson, offered an interdisciplinary approach to preparing middle school teachers of mathematics for the Arizona Educators Proficiency Assessment certification examination.

The project included classes utilizing interactive video conferencing, peer mentoring and additional e-learning resources to address preparation for the Middle Grades Mathematics Arizona Educator Proficiency Assessment (AEPA).

Although project took place in 2006 through 2009, the videos created through the Improving Teacher Quality project are  available at the website above and provide this important information on an ongoing basis.
