For K-8 teachers, Intel Math is an 80-hour professional development course in mathematics content adapted from the Vermont Math Initiative. The course is collaboratively taught by a practicing mathematician and a mathematics educator. Teacher participants deepen their understanding of math through problem-solving. The program is designed to increase mathematics knowledge of elementary school teachers in order to meet the demands of the contemporary mathematics classroom.
