Mentor Teacher Project (CRR)

Website: Mentor Teacher Project

The Mathematics Teacher Recruitment Project will bring together exemplary intermediate, middle, and high school mathematics teachers and elementary mathematics coaches interested in working with and mentoring college students who will be assisting them in their classroom approximately 3 hours per week. This experience will provide college students an opportunity to explore mathematics education as a career option.

Interested teachers must attend a mentor workshop, held on a Saturday in May from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Teachers must also attend one tutor class meeting each semester.

Applications are available online at http://crr.math.arizona.edu/mentorteach.php

A mentor teacher will be paid a $100 stipend at the conclusion of the workshop.
