Your Math Placement Code

Your current math placement is identified by a 3-digit number (called the MATH1 Code) followed by a single letter (called the MATH2 Code). The codes are available in Student Link, under Academic, Placement Exams, Math Readiness Test (even if you did not take the MRT). (To change your codes, you must engage in our placement process.)

Print Your Math Placement Results

To print your math placement results to use at Pima Community College, you must make sure that your name appears on the top left of the document when you print in Student Link using the PrintView option. In Student Link, go to Preferences, Display Settings, and "check this box to display student name and SID on all PrintViews." Then go to Student Link, Academic, Placement Exams, Math Readiness Test, and print using the PrintView option.

Explanation of MATH1 Code

For placement purposes, courses are grouped into levels. For historical reasons, each level is identified by a three-digit number called the MATH1 Code:
