How to install a security certificate in your web browser

Our server security certificates (which allow use of secure https: connections) are generated locally instead of being purchased from a commercial provider. Consequently, your out-of-the-box web browser does not know the source of these certificates and will warn you about that. The instructions below show you how to permanently accept the certificate and thus make that warning go away.
