
Pi Mu Epsilon is the Honorary National Mathematics Society. Our local chapter (number 40, in operation since 1941) determines eligibility criteria. The current requirement is having 12 or more units of math credit on the UA transcript with a math GPA of at least 2.5; the math credit must include MATH 215 (Introduction to Linear Algebra) or MATH 254 (Introduction to Ordinary Differential Equations).
Life-time membership incurs a one-time fee of $20, with the following benefits:
- one-year subscription to the Pi Mu Epsilon Journal;
- eligibility to attend regional conferences and the national conference; and
- eligibility to purchase merchandise.
