The Math Majors Advising Center

The Undergraduate Math Majors Advising Center, known simply as The Math Center, supports our undergraduate mathematics degree programs. The Math Center provides advising to math majors and minors on course selection and program requirements. Additionally, we organize events for undergraduates and provide facilities for undergraduate activities including the MathCats student club.

Note: For general academic matters such as math course placement, evaluation of transfer credits, or enrollment in honors sections of math courses, please see the Math Department Academic Office web page.

Location and Hours

The Math Center is located in the Mathematics Building Rooms 220 & 222

Math 220 is typically open Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Help with general education and/or transfer questions is available for Math Majors

in the Gould–Simpson Building room 1017 at the following times:

  • Monday 9am – noon and 1pm – 3:15pm
  • Wednesday 9am – noon and 1pm – 3:15pm
  • Friday 9am – 11am
