There are two ways to create an account to access the homework assignments for your class. The method will be determined by your instructor. In either method, you will be given a grace period of approximately 14 days from the first day of classes to access WebAssign before you need to purchase your account online.
Method 1 - If your instructor gives you a Class Key, you will be required to set up your own account. Go to http://webassign.net. Click on the Log In link on the left hand side of the page. Click on the I Have A Class Key link. The Class Key is composed of three fields. In the first field you will enter the word arizona (lower case) followed by two four digit numbers unique to your section. Click Submit. If the information about your section is correct, click Yes, This Is My Class. At this point, follow the instructions to create a username and password. Once your account is set up, you will not have to use the Class Key again.
Method 2 - If your instructor sets up a class roster, they will provide you with a username and initial password that is specific to your section. Go to http://webassign.net. Enter your username and initial password, and use arizona as your institution (you will be able to change your password later).
If you have computer related questions (ex. unable to download a file, hardware compatibility problem, etc.) contact WebAssign directly at http://webassign.net. You will find a link for technical support and a guide after logging-in.
If you have math-related questions, contact your instructor.
