Graduate Student in Applied Mathematics
University of Arizona

I am currently a graduate student in the Program in Applied Mathematics at the University of Arizona. I work with Tim Secomb modelling the dynamics of the left ventricle and neighboring vasculature. For details about my previous experience have a look at my CV. While away from matlab and C++ coding, I can be found reading with my daughter, at the gym, or learning to play guitar on Rocksmith.

Research Interests

Speckle tracking of echocardiograph data.

Simplified modelling of the mechanics and dynamics of the left ventricle.

Researching the causes of diastolic heart failure (DHF) by mathematical modelling.

Modelling dynamic afterload on the left ventricle using 1D blood flow models.
