Isogeny Invariance of the BSD Formula

Bryden Cais

In these notes we prove that if f:A-->B an isogeny of abelian varieties whose degree is relatively prime to the characteristic of the field of definition, then the BSD formula holds for A if and only if it holds for B. We closely follow Milne's book Arithmetic Duality Theorems.

I wrote these "personal" notes to prepare for my preliminary exam "special topic".
