|Bio:||Sandra I. Musanti completed her doctorate in Educational Thought and Sociocultural Studies at the University of New Mexico. She has a long experience working with preservice and inservice teachers as a teacher educator and professional developer in Argentina, her native country, and in the US. |
Her research interests include teacher education, teacher development and collaboration, and bilingual education. Her actual research in CEMELA focuses on bilingual teachers' development through ongoing reflection on student work in mathematics, and bilingual teachers' understandings of issues of language and culture in the context of teaching mathematics.
