About the CEMELA School
The CEMELA School is an integral part of the education and research experience of CEMELA's graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. PIs, faculty, graduate students, and post-doctoral researchers will join together in an intensive five-day school consisting of two one-credit graduate courses, sessions on research methodology, and meetings of CEMELA-wide research teams to continue to develop research questions and collaborative projects across university sites.
A subgroup of CEMELA's Advisory Board willjoin the School for the first two days. The Advisory Board members will play a participatory observation role in the CEMELA School, will lead round table discussions for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, and attend advisory meetings with PIs and faculty members to discuss issues pertinent to CEMELA's administration and research goals.
