Tests
Except for the final exam, the following dates are only tentative.
- Exam 1: February 12th (note: this has been moved).
- Exam 2: March 6th.
- Exam 3: April 17th.
- Final Exam: For the 11 AM section, Tuesday May 13 from 11-1. For the
1230 section, Thursday, May 15th from 11-1.

I taught this course last spring. Warning: some of the stuff on these
exams is on topics that we have not covered this semester, so you can
ignore those questions.
- Here is a list of
questions simialr to those that might be on the final exam. (In
fact, I think many of these were on my final exam last year.)
- Many examples from class can be found on either your CD (which you got
with your textbook) or at the publisher's
website (if you click on "Data Sets" or "Electronic Encyclopedia of
Statistical Examples and Exercises").
- Many of the data-sets for your homework problems are also on the
CD.
- The solutions to the first quiz.
- The solutions to the second quiz.
- The solutions to the practice exam
for the third exam. Remember, we haven't covered the material for problem
10 yet, so you can safely ignore that one for now.
Important Dates
- Wed, January 16th: First day of classes
- Monday, January 21st: Martin Luther King Day, no class
- Tuesday, February 12th: Last day to drop with deletion from
record
- Tuesday, March 11th: Last day to drop with W
- March 15-23rd: Spring Break, no classes
- Wed, May 7th: Last day of classes
- Tuesday May 13th (for section 2) or Thursday May 15th (for section 4)
(11:00am - 1:00pm): Final Exam
