Here are some things that I like. Please feel free to judge me based entirely on the following list. (It is, after all, a pretty cool list.)

• Some bands everyone should listen to:
  • Medeski, Martin and Wood, a jazz/funk trio.
  • Lambchop, not the puppet Lambchop either.
  • Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven. David Lowery doth rock.
  • Vic Chesnutt doth rock as well. Only he rocks while sitting.
  • Beck is the enchanting wizard of rhythm, here to tell us about the rhythms of the universe.
• Infinite Jest is a wonderful, wonderful book, and only weighs about thirty pounds.
• See what the good folks at Television Without Pity had to say about Sports Night, the best show ever to only last two seasons.
• Ninjas are cool, and by cool I mean totally sweet. (All credit goes to Tal Sutton for this one.)
• My sister is a blogger in Thailand. Just think, if ten years ago someone had told me that my sister blogged in Thailand, I'd assume they meant something dirty. Ah, the internet. Check out her ruminations on reporting exotic diseases here .

• The Falling Sand Game is about the coolest time waster I've ever seen in my life. It's especially fun to try to trap and burn the little bouncy thing. Careful, if he gets out, he'll destroy everything.
