Gallego Troop Spring 2001 Pictures

The Girl Scouts in this after-school troop explored the strength and stability of various shapes and materials as they assummed the role of a Structural Engineer.   One of their challenges was to build a stable structure using only newspaper and tape.  The girls (as well as some parents) also made adobe bricks and used these bricks to build bridges.
