Summer Camps 2001 Pictures

El Pueblo Summer Camp 2001
     During this camp, the Girl Scouts got a hands-on experience in Reverse Engineering.  They were able to discover how complex machines work by taking them apart and examining their components.

   Los Amigos Summer Camp 2001
The Girl Scouts were able to explore simple machines at this camp and use them to accomplish various types of work.

Nash Technology and Computer Summer Camps 2001
The Nash Summer Camp was divided into two parts.  One was a Technology camp, where girls and boys (and even some of the parents)  were able to learn about circuits and electricity to get an idea of the science behind electronics and technology.   The other was a Computer camp, where the Girl Scouts learned about computer programming and actually made their own programs to operate Lego Mindstorms.

  San Xavier Summer Camp 2001
At this camp, the Girl Scouts were able to shapen their problem solving and math skills by trying to solve some challenging puzzles.  They also explored solar energy and built cars that
were powered by solar motors.
