Homework Policy
- Non-examination assessment will consist of three parts: electronic homework, written homework, and quizzes. These will be worth approximately 40%, 40% and 20%, respectively, of the final non-examination assessment grade.
- WebAssign due dates will be posted on WebAssign.
- Written homework assignments and due dates will be emailed out.
- Quizzes will be given announced or unannounced throughout the course.
- Written homework should be handed in at the start of class. Late homework will generally not be accepted for credit.
- Several of the lowest homework grades will be dropped at the end of the semester.
- Make up quizzes and make up homework will be given upon discretion of the instructor. In case of an excused absence (medical reasons, dean's excuse, etc.), please notify the instructor in advance for full-credit make up work.
- Partial credit will be given upon discretion of the instructor.
- Show your work! Credit may not be given for correct answers without relevant work.
- No credit will be given for illegible work.
- Homework should have name, date, course and section number, and assignment title.
- Handwriting must be neat and legible.
- Homework must be on letter-sized paper (white or lined).
- If multiple pages are handed in, they must be stapled.
- No fringes/fuzzy edges.

PICTURE: Our unofficial aim for this semester is to be as happy with our pre-calculus knowledge as this cat is (evidently) happy about its life.
