Homework Policy

Homework will be assigned at the end of each class period and will be due at the beginning of the following class period. Absolutely no late homework will be accepted. In addition, no extra credit will be possible, so please do not ask. While you are encouraged to discuss homework problems with me, with tutors, and with each other, solutions to the homework problems must be worked out and submitted individually; you are responsible for your own homework.  Please work neatly, show all of your work, and produce clearly labeled graphs when appropriate.  A selection of every homework set will be graded. At least two of the lowest scores will be dropped before computing the final homework grade.

Please make use of my office hours (or make an appointment with me) if you are having difficulty with any of the material. I am always happy to discuss the course material and homework problems with you, and I greatly welcome feedback on the course. In addition, there is free tutoring available in the Math East Building (see below) that many students find helpful.
