About Me

I am on a 3-year (2007-2010) postdoc contract with The University of Arizona, Department of Mathematics, associated with the NSF-funded Arizona Teacher Initiative of Institute for Mathematics and Education, from 2007 to 2010. During the years from 2002 to 2007, I was a graduate student at the Department of Mathematics, Brandeis University, working with my thesis advisor Dr. Ira Gessel in the area of algebraic combinatorics. Before that, I got my Bachelor's degree in mathematics in Nankai University, China. If interested, you may go to my homepages on teaching and research for more details about what I have done in the past.

Research

I work on algebraic combinatorics. My research focuses on enumerating graphs with certain properties using the combinatorial theory of species founded by Joyal.
