The course files will run on PCs with Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7; and Excel, PowerPoint, and Word from Microsoft Office Suite 2007 or later. They are not designed to run on the Macintosh platform. Some people have found that the course files run acceptably on Macintosh computers; others have had major problems with that operating system. Use the text on Macintosh systems at your own risk.


If you own a MAC computer you need to find a solution so that you could use the course files in class and to do HW

  • Final 

Final examinations(all course material )  in all sections of Math 115b will be given at a common time,Wednesday, December 14, 2011, from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM.   

    • LOCATION-social science 100
    • All students must come 15 minutes early & must bring CATCARD

The final exam contains 32 multiple choice

questions, with 16 questions pertaining to the first half of the semester

and 16 questions pertaining to the second half.  There are 5 project

related questions for each project (10 total) and 22 mathematical and

Excel based questions.  Students must remain in their exam room for at

least one hour.  Starting at 7 pm, no new students may begin their final

exam.  Cell phones and PDAs are not permitted.  Graphing calculators are

mandatory.  Students may not share calculators during the exam.
