1) STAT->EDIT->go to a empty column->
a) if you already have a name for that empty column->click on the
name(on the top of the table)->press DEL
then you would get the "NAME= " on the bottom
of your screen-> now 2ND+STAT ->NAMES->RESID
b) if you can see
"NAME= " on the bottom of your screen-> now
2ND+STAT ->NAMES->RESID
