Instructions: You are to click on the link in the line above, read the problem, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS -- READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS, including the restrictions on the number of items that can be produced or the number of acres that can be planted -- solve the problem, and turn in your solution, following the usual guidelines in Homework Format and Homework Writing Policy. In particular, be sure to explain clearly and convincingly why your answer yields a maximum value.
As usual, if you need to find the vertex of a parabola to solve the problem, do so by COMPLETING THE SQUARE.
