Lesson 13b.

NOTE 1: Be sure to read Homework Format, Homework Writing Policy, and Explanations Expected BEFORE writing up your solutions to be turned in.

NOTE 2: When two or more Lessons are to be turned in on the same day, please staple the Lessons separately and turn them in separately.
(This is Lesson 13b; if another Lesson is due the same day as this Lesson is due, staple the two Lessons separately and turn them in separately.)

Due Monday, October 5

Sect. 3.5-3.6:
Read the instructions which follow.
Refer to Real Life Functions and answer the following three questions. You may answer on your own paper or print out the questions and answer on the printout. If you answer on your own paper, all you have to do is give a complete answer to the question asked; for this lesson, you don't have to give the question or explain your answer. (You CAN explain your answer if you wish; egregiously incorrect answers with no explanation will receive no credit.) However, be sure to give a complete, full sentence answer (cf. Question 7 in Lesson 0) -- e.g., "The domain of _____ is _____."
Note that all you're asked to do is answer the questions given here; you are not asked to answer the questions in the Real Life Functions worksheet.

Questions to be answered:
  1. What is the domain of the function  s?
  2. What is the domain of the function  m?
  3. What is the domain of the function  mos?

NOTE: As stated on the Course Home Page, all due dates are tentative. Assignments, or parts of assignments, may be postponed to a later date.
