Lesson 14a.

NOTE 1: Be sure to read Homework Format, Homework Writing Policy, and Explanations Expected BEFORE writing up your solutions to be turned in.

NOTE 2: When two or more Lessons are to be turned in on the same day, please staple the Lessons separately and turn them in separately.
(This is Lesson 14a; if another Lesson is due the same day as this Lesson is due, staple the two Lessons separately and turn them in separately.)

Due Friday, October 2

Sect. 4.2:
Be sure to note that there are many more exercises suggested in the suggested homework posted online.

Read the instructions.

Solve Exercises 14,  20,  and  44(c),
following the instructions given in Lesson 14.

This means you will have to READ Lesson 14.

Also note the following:
The point of written homework is not for you to submit a list of "solutions" with no explanations. SOLUTIONS WITH NO EXPLANATIONS WILL RECEIVE NEGATIVE CREDIT. (So if all you want to do is to turn in a list of answers, don't turn in anything.)

Also, as frequently pointed out in class, your answers should be consistent with each other and with the information given in the problem. ANSWERS WHICH ARE OBVIOUSLY INCONSISTENT with your graph and with the equation given will receive little or no credit.

NOTE 1: Be sure to read Homework Format, Homework Writing Policy, and Explanations Expected BEFORE writing up your solutions to be turned in.

NOTE: As stated on the Course Home Page, all due dates are tentative. Assignments, or parts of assignments, may be postponed to a later date.
