Due Wednesday, September 9
- Sect. 3.3:
- READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, both here and in the textbook.
Exercises 2*, 6**, 12, 14, 22, 28***.
* For Exercise 2, in order that the reader of your paper (in particular, you and I) can understand your answer, you will have to include some WORDS in your answer.
** For Exercise 6, in order that the reader of your paper (in particular, you and I) can understand your answer, you will have to include the given graph and some WORDS in your answer. Complete English sentences are not always necessary; for example, to answer part (a), you could just say something like “range = ... ”, but also give a brief explanation of how you get this answer.
*** Comments similar to those above (for Exercises 2 and 6) apply to ALL Exercises. Be sure to read the guidelines handed out in class (and linked to above and below) to see how you should write your solutions.
NOTE 1: Be sure to read Homework Format, Homework Writing Policy, and Explanations Expected BEFORE writing up your solutions to be turned in.
