Email address:  As soon as possible,  please send me an email, from which I will take your email address to add to the list of email addresses for the class. Be sure to include your NAME and your COURSE and section number. Also, be sure to indicate in your email that this is the email address you want me to use for my email address list, since I do not check every email I receive to see if you are on my email list.

If you have sent me your email address and you are not receiving email from me, let me know.
Please note that when I send email to the class, although I try to maintain the privacy of your email address, it is occasionally possible that other students in the class will be able to see your email address.
Always include a “Subject” with any email. Email without a meaningful Subject line may be discarded without being opened.

WebAssign.
When logging in to WebAssign, you will be asked for “Institution”. You should enter  arizona  when asked for Institution.

Section 11 Class Key: arizona 8996 9630.

Questions about WebAssign?
  • Questions about the mathematics (calculus) should be referred to your instructor.
  • Questions about things specific to your section of the course (Math 129-11), such as username, password, which problems are assigned, when they are due, how many tries you get, how many points for each problem, ... , should be referred to your instructor.
  • Difficulties with using WebAssign itself (technical questions) should be addresed to webassignhelp@math.arizona.edu. Please send me a copy of any email you send to webassignhelp.

I welcome email inquiries from students about homework questions, or any other questions you may have about the course. If you ask me a question about homework, however, please remember two things:

  • When I read your email, I don't necessarily have with me the textbook or the worksheet which describes the problem you are asking me about. So please give me a description of the problem you are asking me about.
  • Inquiries received on the evening before an assignment is due will probably not be answered in time to help you with homework due the next day.
Inquiries received on the afternoon of the day an assignment is due will probably not be answered in time to help you with homework due that same evening.
    Etc.
