Lesson 42a.

Due Monday, April 14

As a result of the quizzes given in class on Wednesday, April 9, everyone who was in class appears to know how the driver of a car should stop the car -- I mean, everyone appears to know how to approach the proof of an “iff” statement. Now, show that you can actually stop the car! -- I mean, show that you actually know to to prove an “iff” statement!
Sect. 5:
See Bounded and Quiet Sets and do Problems 1 and 2 there.

NOTE: If you have already done these problems correctly in Lesson 42, you will have received credit for this lesson (Lesson 42a), and this will be noted when your paper is returned on Friday, April 11. This means you do not have to turn in Lesson 42a to receive credit for it.

NOTE: Be sure to read  Homework Format  and Homework Writing Policy BEFORE writing up your solutions to be turned in.

NOTE: As stated on the Course Home Page, all due dates are tentative. Assignments, or parts of assignments, may be postponed to a later date.
