Due Wednesday, June 11

2.5 Problems:
You should eventually be able to solve at least Problems 2.1-2.14 and 2.16-2.25. There may be more.

Turn in:
2.7*.
* See instructions below.

Solve Problem 2.7 without a calculator (or computer, etc.), using only the numerical fact that  (1.1)20 = 6.727450... .

Also, solve the same problem with the data changed as follows:
(DATA CORRECTED 10PM June 9.)
The relevant ages are 30, 45, and 60, instead of 25, 45, and 65, as given in Problem 2.7.
The interest rate is 7% instead of 10%.
(You should be able to do this problem using only one calculator calculation, analogous to the value of  (1.1)20  given above.)

NOTE: Be sure to read  Homework Format  and Homework Writing Policy  BEFORE writing up your solutions to be turned in.

NOTE: As stated on the Course Home Page, all due dates are tentative. Assignments, or parts of assignments, may be postponed to a later date.
