NOTE 1: Be sure to read  Homework Format  and Homework Writing Policy  BEFORE writing up your solutions to be turned in.

NOTE 2: When two or more Lessons are to be turned in on the same day, please staple the Lessons separately and turn them in separately.
On the other hand, the assignment given below, even though from two different sources, is all part of ONE Lesson, Lesson 9, and so all the problems below should be turned in together.

2.5 Problems:
You should eventually be able to solve at least Problems 2.1-2.14, 2.16-2.25, 2.26-2.30, and 2.34-2.35.

Turn in:
2.16,  2.17,  2.49.
3.4 Problems:
You should eventually be able to solve at least Problems 3.1-3.12 and 3.14-3.18.

Turn in:
Explain how the first row in the table in Problem 3.7 is obtained, and obtain the second row, showing clearly how you get your answers.
