- Refer to Exercise 8(c). This is an “iff” statement, which is easy one way and not-so-easy the other way. Prove the easy way using the sequential definitions of limits and continuity. Prove the not-so-easy way using the “epsilon-delta” definitions; for the “epsilon-delta” definition of limit, see Lesson 25a and, in particular, Limit of a Function (pdf document).
