University of Arizona custom edition of Linear Algebra and its Applications 5ed by David C. Lay (Pearson) ISBN-10: 1-323-23573-6 ISBN-13: 978-1-323-23573-7 The custom edition (available at the ASUA bookstore) is supposed to be a bit cheaper and leaves out some material that is not part of our course. The ordinary 5th edition is also fine to use for the course. Its ISBN-13 is 978-0321982384 in hardcover or in paper 978-1292092232. Either edition can be used.
