Answers!

1) MathCats is a social club that provides students with an accepting and inclusive environment full of fun, games, and FOOD. A MathCat is someone who attends MathCats meetings (duh). MathCats are people just like you! They come to MathCats meetings to be social and have fun.

2) You might learn a thing or two from your fellow MathCats—many conversations during game nights have to do with math or things relating to math. It’s FUN! It’s a great way to relax after a long day of classes. Meeting new friends. Free Food!

3) The only requirement is that you are a student somewhere. This could mean that you are from NAU, ASU, U of A, or any other university (even community college students are welcome, [albeit uncommon]). You do NOT have to know vector calculus or have taken 400-level courses to be in MathCats. Our meetings do not revolve around Math. They revolve around the students attending them.
