A lecture by Arthur T. Winfree, Regents Professor, Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology, and Timothy W. Secomb, Professor, Departments of Physiology & Mathematics. They will describe applications of mathematics to the heart and the circulatory system, in terms understandable to non-mathematicians.
