Stop by the lobby of the Mathematics Building during the week of April 7 - 11 to enter the “Unknot the Knot” contest and view the works of
Joseph Labate, UA School of Art, and Anne Franklin, Department of Mathematics, Pima College.

Our contest involves a wire sculpture in the shape of a Trefoil Knot.  The person who gives the best estimate for the length of the wire used to create this sculpture will win a gift certificate to the UA bookstore.

The winner of the “Unknot the Knot” contest will be announced Friday April 11, at 2 pm in the Mathematics lobby.
