Personal Information
My name
is Scott Hottovy and I'm a fourth year
graduate student in the Applied
Mathematics Program at the University of Arizona working towards my Ph.
D. in applied mathematics. Currently I am
working with Professor Janek Wehr in the Mathematics Department at the
University of Arizona in the field of stochastic differential
equations. I earned my Bachelor of Science with distinction at the
University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May of 2008. I did undergraduate
research with Professor George Avalos on mathematical control theory
and wrote an undergraduate thesis paper that you can find in the
"papers and talks" link above. I earned my Masters of Science from the
University of Arizona in May of 2010.
