Guidelines for Minitab Assignments

• The student's name, course number, and section number should be given at the top of the first page.
• Assignments consisting of multiple pages should be stapled.
• A font such as Courier or Courier New should be used so that the Minitab output is not distorted.
• Each exercise should be clearly labeled.
• Answers should be written in complete sentences.
• Errors should be deleted.
• Information obtained from the online help facility should be deleted.
• Commands used to generate the required output should not be deleted.
• Only a small excerpt, at most, of the worksheet should be included in the report.
• The report should be completely computer-generated.
• When you are finished with the ReportPad in Minitab, save it in ".rtf" format and open it in Microsoft Word. Complete your editing in Word to produce a finished product with a professional appearance.
