Periodic Behavior in the System

In the previous section, we calculated the relaxation oscillation frequency. Now, we can choose tex2html_wrap_inline1512 close to the frequency so as to access to the resonance of the system. This enables the weak injection to drive the resonance at the injection frequency showing a large periodic behavior. In Figure [7(a)], we see the periodic behavior due to the injection. This is interesting because we see very short, intense pulses at the frequency of tex2html_wrap_inline1512 . Figure [7(b)] also shows that the field intensity is driven at the frequency of injection.
