Peter Andersen, Raguel Reisdorf, Heather Carnahan, and Steven Reyes are four
of the current UTAs (left to right).
Joshua Green, Catherine Ott, Paul Bentz, and Jason Shaw are UTAs this
semester (left to right).
Brigitte Lahme (teaching postdoc) is the UTA coordinator (in the
back).
Diane Kohl is helping a student in the Algebra and Calculus I tutoring room.
Every UTA tutors three hours per week in the Math 401N tutoring room.
Jason Shaw and Michelle Marlatt are working on a graphing calculator
problem during one of the weekly UTA meetings. In these meetings the UTAs and
the coordinator talk about how everybody is doing, if there are any problems
etc..
They also discuss teaching/education related topics. Each UTA presents
a short talk about a topic in mathematics education throughout the semester.
Travis Singleton is assisting Christopher Goff in Calculus 3. Instructors and
their assistants meet regularly to discuss the UTAs' work in the class.
